Visitors Centre and Mine shop open daily. 

The pyramids of Egypt reach halfway to the sky. The great Wall of China is visible from space. But in the Falun Mine you are invited to visit the world beneath us! The World Heritage Falun and Falun Mine offers a wide range of experiences and activities, memories for life:

- The Mining Hospital (for more information; click here)

- The New Mine Walk, a 1600 m winding trail overground around the excavated Great Pit, Stora Stöten

- Vaschet, the youngest children worked here

- Line Works (Linslageriet), production of strong steel line made of iron twine. Exhibitions in the Mining Museum of art, minerals and historical high tech mining.
