In Kyrksalen, the mine owners once gathered to make important decisions, and further back in time, miners’ prayers were also held here for the people of Kopparberget.
Today, Kyrksalen is used for concerts, weddings, christenings, funeral ceremonies and other events. Every year, the Church of Sweden also holds a New Year’s service here with the mine chaplain.
Kyrksalen has fantastic acoustics and is truly a unique venue.
