Falu Mine is open to visitors all year round, but autumn and winter offer a slightly calmer atmosphere compared to the summer months. Experience 1,000 years of history in the heart of the Falun World Heritage Site.

After 28 September we are closed on Mondays and the Mine Museum is only open at weekends.
During school holidays and special events we extend our opening hours – you’ll find more information further down.
